Joseph Earl Brown

The Founder

Joe Brown is a second-time founder with over 20 years of full-stack software engineering experience spanning enterprise systems, cloud infrastructure, and AI/ML product development. His previous company, V-Chain Solutions, raised $1.6M and was an ATI/UT Austin incubator and Capital Factory alumnus.

Before founding ALTR, Joe built and shipped software at IBM, and taught Computer Science at Georgia State University, Austin Community College, as well as Fulton County Schools. He led development and delivered results to companies like CGI, Shaw Industries and LogisTech. He has held DoD Secret Clearances, multiple AWS Certifications, and masters degree majors in business and computer information systems — and has been building technology solutions for over two decades.

ALTR exists because Joe has seen firsthand what happens when great ideas meet poor technical execution. His mission is to close that gap: giving non-technical founders access to senior engineering talent and a proven delivery process.
